Round: WA 25m; 60 arrows at 25 meters on a 60cm face. Compound archers shoot at three-spot faces, scoring ten on the inner ten-zone ring
Status: World Record Status
Note that FITA Target Awards may be claimed from Archery GB at World Record Status shoots
Sessions: Session A: 09:00 am, Session B: 12:30 am, Session C: 04:00 pm.
Assembly 15 minutes before each session.
Archery GB Membership: It is a condition of entry that you are a member of Archery GB and we may ask you for your membership card when you book in.
Equipment check: Archery GB have made an operational change which means that it is now mandatory for judges to do an inspection of archer's equipment at the start of all record status events. Please be prepared to arrive a little earlier so the start of the shoot is not delayed.
Catering: Guildford Archery Club do not provide any catering, however The Spectrum has a number of facilities.
Awards: Plenty of medals on offer, subject to having enough archers in each discipline.
Mixed Recurve Team Award. Club Compound Pair Award. Individual Recurve, Compound, Longbow and Barebow Awards. Double Round Award. The highest scoring archers (Lady, Gent and Junior) shooting recurve, compound, longbow and barebow, from each session will be awarded at the end of each session.
Dress code: As this is record status shoot dress regulations in accordance with Archery GB rule 307 apply. Please don’t turn up in blue denim as you will not be allowed to shoot.
